Account Deletion Policy
At Laundry Basket, we respect your right to control your data. This policy outlines how you can request the deletion of your account and what happens to your data afterward.
1. Right to Delete
You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your Laundry Basket account at any time. Deleting your account is a permanent action and cannot be undone.
2. How to Request Deletion
You can request account deletion through the following methods:
- In-App: Navigate to Profile > Settings > Delete Account.
- Email: Send an email to info@laundrybasketunicorn.com from your registered email address with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
- Customer Support: Contact our support team at +91 96442 54425.
3. Data Removal Process
Upon receiving a valid deletion request, Laundry Basket will:
- Deactivate your account immediately.
- Remove your personal identification information (Name, Phone, Email).
- Delete your saved addresses and payment tokens.
- Anonymize order history for financial auditing purposes (where required by law).
4. Timeline
Once requested, the account deactivation is immediate. Full data removal from our active databases typically takes between 7 to 30 business days. Backup archives may retain data for up to 90 days before being fully purged.
5. Outstanding Obligations
Account deletion requests will only be fully processed once all outstanding payments are cleared and any active orders are completed or cancelled.
