1. Introduction

Welcome to Laundry Basket. By accessing our website, mobile application, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Services Offered

Laundry Basket provides professional laundry, dry cleaning, wash & fold, wash & iron, steam ironing, and commercial garment care services with doorstep pickup and delivery across Bhopal. Service availability may vary based on store coverage areas.

3. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate pickup, delivery, and contact information.
• Ensure all pockets and garments are checked to remove cash, jewelry, or valuable items.
• Inform our staff or rider about delicate fabrics, color bleeds, or specific garment stain instructions.
• Ensure items handed over are suitable for professional cleaning.

4. Pricing & Billing

All service rates are displayed transparently on our platform. Final billing is generated upon actual count and weight/item inspection at our processing store. Promotional discounts and coupon codes are subject to specific time limits and terms.

5. Doorstep Pickup, Delivery & Delivery Charge Policy

We provide convenient doorstep pickup and delivery services across Bhopal. Our delivery charge structure is transparent and based on road distance from our processing hub:

Free Delivery Conditions:

• Local Proximity (< 3.0 KM): 100% FREE doorstep pickup and delivery on all orders within a 3.0 KM radius.
• Orders ₹500 & Above (≤ 5.0 KM): 100% FREE doorstep pickup and delivery on orders valued at ₹500 or more within 5.0 KM.

Distance-Based Delivery Rates:

• 0 – 3.0 KM: FREE
• 3.1 – 5.0 KM: ₹27 (Flat delivery charge)
• 5.1 – 8.0 KM: ₹47 (Flat delivery charge)
• 8.1 – 12.0 KM: ₹77 (Flat delivery charge)
• Above 12.0 KM: ₹97 base fee + ₹10 for each additional kilometer.

Turnaround & Re-Attempts: Standard turnaround time is 24 to 48 hours depending on service type. Our riders contact customers prior to arrival. If a customer is unreachable, a second delivery attempt will be scheduled. Excessive failed attempts may incur a nominal re-delivery fee of ₹30.

6. Damage, Loss & Service Liability

Laundry Basket follows strict industrial quality control and fabric separation processes. In the rare event of garment loss or damage directly attributable to our processing, liability is limited to a maximum of 5 times the service charge of the affected item or ₹1,000 (whichever is lower). Natural wear and tear, color fading from prior washing, or pre-existing garment weakness are not covered.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

Orders can be cancelled free of charge prior to rider dispatch for pickup. Once pickup is completed or processing begins at the plant, cancellation charges may apply. Refunds, if applicable, are credited to the original payment source within 5-7 business days.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal proceedings or disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
